Specialists of the Leningrad Optical Mechanical Association named after V. I. Lenin (LOMO JSC, part of the Kalashnikov concern) have developed a thermal imaging monocular. This was reported by the press service of the concern.

The monocular is a lightweight, compact device that attaches to a bulletproof helmet or protective helmet. The product can also be mounted on a tripod or held in hand.

  • Detection range of a human figure — up to 500 m
  • Works in extreme temperatures from -20 to +50 ℃
