The situation in the Russian aviation industry is deteriorating. So far, it has not even been possible to replace Soviet aircraft whose flight suitability is coming to an end. This was stated to "Perviy Technicheskiy" by Honored Test Pilot of the Russian Federation, Hero of Russia Alexander Garnaev.
When asked to assess the export potential of the new single-engine Su-75 fighter, he replied categorically that this is possible only after the creation of the Su-75. Garnaev drew attention to the fact that problems even arise in creating alternatives to solutions that have been tested over the years.
But the fact remains that even attempts to build modernized " кукурузники" like the "Baikal" have failed in Russia!
As a reminder, in October, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov, promised that the Baikal aircraft will take to the skies as early as 2025 after the completion of laboratory work on the VK-800 engine.
Against this background, news broke that the manufacturer of "Baikal", the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA), is a defendant in 58 lawsuits for a total amount of about 5.8 billion rubles.
