The Voronezh company "AtomSbyt" has filed a lawsuit against the aircraft plant VASO (part of PJSC "Aviation Complex named after S. V. Ilyushin"). The reason was the aircraft manufacturers' failure to pay electricity bills.
The amount of debt reached 32.4 million rubles. The energy suppliers first tried to resolve the issue peacefully and sent a pre-trial claim, but the plant ignored it.
Then "AtomSbyt" went to arbitration and asked to charge 177 thousand rubles of penalty for the delay. Representatives of the aircraft plant did not dispute the debt, but asked to reduce the amount of the penalty.
However, the court rejected this request — the energy suppliers had already calculated the penalty at the old, lower rate of the Central Bank.
The Arbitration Court of the Voronezh Region decided to recover from the aircraft plant the entire amount of the debt, the penalty, and another half a million in state fees. And the penalties will continue to accrue until the plant has fully paid off.
Among the company's key products are military transport aircraft Il-76, Il-78, Il-112V and A-50, as well as passenger aircraft — Il-96, Il-114-300, Il-103.
