Production of components for the domestic SJ-100 aircraft is planned to be launched in the Khabarovsk Territory. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister — Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev.
According to him, modern production sites will be created in the region, where the production of hatches, doors, and PD-8 engines will be combined. These measures are aimed at developing industrial cooperation and strengthening the aviation industry in the Far East.
Trutnev emphasized that the localization of production will improve technological independence and create new jobs in the region.
The region is implementing the Charter of Industrial Technological Sovereignty and Import Substitution, aimed at developing cooperation between small technology companies and large industrial enterprises, supporting import-substituting initiatives, digital transformation of industries, and developing human resources. Over the year, 386 organizations have joined the charter, and 274 contracts have been concluded between representatives of small and large businesses.
