Baikal Yachts Group has presented its new SuperHouseBoat Baikal 50, created for luxury recreation on the water. The vessel, combining innovative design and advanced technologies, will be launched on the charter yacht market for navigation in inland waters and marine areas of Russia.
The SuperHouseBoat Baikal 50, designed as a catamaran, provides increased stability, has a bridge clearance of up to 13 meters, a shallow draft, and a wide 16-meter hull, making the vessel suitable for both shallow rivers and open sea voyages. The creators claim that it is ideal for sailing along Russia's main waterway, the Volga River, as well as routes from the Baltic to the Black Sea.
The total area of the catamaran is 2110 sq.m, of which 1240 sq.m is allocated to luxurious living spaces. One of the key features is the possibility of equipping the upper deck as a helipad.
Baikal 50 is designed for discerning clients who prefer VIP-level recreation. Up to 18 passengers can be comfortably accommodated in spacious luxury cabins, along with 12 crew members.
The model is aimed at a high-level audience. This is primarily Russian billionaires and millionaires (there are 125 Russian billionaires and 180,000 millionaires), top management of major corporations, the political and cultural elite of the country, and influential international guests of Russia.
High-net-worth individuals (HNWI) and especially ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) in Russia are often overlooked in the yachting industry. Baikal 50 will change this situation, attracting wealthy clients to recreation within the country and stimulating the development of yachting infrastructure.
According to BusinessWire, the global yacht charter market was valued at approximately US$16.1 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach over US$23 billion by 2030. Experts also predict great prospects for the charter market in Russia.
Superhouseboats Baikal 50 can be adapted to individual orders with their own unique design. The first negotiations with clients have already shown high interest, the company notes.
