The Smolensk plant "Roslavl Brake Systems" will receive 2.5 billion rubles to increase production potential. The order was signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin, said the head of the region Vasily Anokhin.
According to him, an agreement on a large-scale modernization of the plant was concluded at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum with the State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation "NAMI".
As a result of the project implementation, more than 30% of production areas will be released, which will create conditions for the placement of new residents. One company has already started work today, and three more are considering the possibility of organizing production.
Anokhin added that the plant produces over 80 items and more than 220 modifications of pneumatic brake drive devices.
"Roslavl Brake Systems" is one of the largest manufacturers of brake equipment for trucks and buses in Russia, supplying products to the assembly lines of KAMAZ, URAL, GAZ and other companies.
