The United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec) plans to obtain a type certificate for the latest PD-8 aircraft engine for SJ-100 Superjet and Be-200 aircraft by the end of 2025. This was announced by the head of the UEC, Alexander Grachev.
He noted that the unit was developed in the shortest possible time, using the experience of creating the PD-14.
UEC plans to receive a type certificate for the latest PD-8 aircraft engine for Superjet and Be-200 aircraft in 2025. The first two engines for the amphibious aircraft will be shipped by the end of the year.
According to him, UEC is also implementing the PD-14 program for the medium-range MC-21, TV7-117ST-01 for the regional Il-114-300.
Now our main task is to reach the production volumes necessary for domestic aviation.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the manufacturer of MC-21 and SJ-100 started cooperation with Belarus in the production of aircraft.
