The Russian government plans to allocate 54.47 billion rubles in 2026 for applied research, development, and scientific research in the interests of the Russian aviation industry. This is stated in the explanatory note to the draft federal budget.
In 2027, 51.59 billion rubles will be allocated for these works, and in 2028 — another 18.99 billion rubles.
The allocation of funds is planned under the federal project "Production of Aircraft and Helicopters" within the framework of the program "Industrial Support of Transport Mobility".
In total, 85.72 billion rubles are planned to be allocated under the federal project in 2026, 86.89 billion rubles in 2027, and 89.3 billion rubles in 2028.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the manufacturer of MC-21 and SJ-100 started cooperation with Belarus on the production of aircraft.
