An experienced prototype of the light multi-purpose aircraft "Osvey" was shown at the "Innoprom. Belarus" exhibition. It will fly next year.
LMS-192 "Osvey" is a joint project of Russia and Belarus, designed for flights on local routes. The aircraft will receive a VK-800 turboprop engine. The onboard equipment for the aircraft will be created by JSC "Concern Radio-Electronic Technologies".
An experienced aircraft prototype will be created in Belarus in 2026. Mass production will be established in 2027 at the "Ural Civil Aviation Plant".
The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov, previously stated that all project parameters for the creation of the "Osvey" aircraft have already been developed. Russia expects a positive conclusion from Belarusian colleagues in order to continue developing the working design documentation.
