Former General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) Mikhail Pogosyan has stepped down as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA).

Pogosyan's position was taken by Igor Nasenkov, General Director of Technodinamika Holding. Pogosyan remains on the Board of Directors of UZGA.

Pogosyan, one of the creators of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100), became Chairman of the Board of Directors of UZGA in January 2025. At UZGA, he oversaw financing and civil projects.

UZGA is engaged in the production of civil aircraft for local airlines "Baikal", "Osvey" and "Ladoga", as well as the Altius UAV and the military UTS-800.

The LMS-901 "Baikal" is a multi-purpose aircraft that was developed to replace the outdated Soviet An-2. It is equipped with one turboprop engine and is designed to carry up to nine passengers and for aviation work.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Igor Ozar became the new General Director of UZGA, who until mid-April 2025 headed the Rocket and Space Corporation Energia.
