"ODK-Perm Motors" (part of UEC) is significantly increasing the throughput of workshops for the production of aircraft engines, the corporation's press service reported.
In the welding shop of "ODK-Perm Motors", equipment loading will increase by 50%, the time for preparatory and final operations will be reduced by 80%, and tooling for parts will be created 25% faster.
Also, in the machining and assembly shop, the equipment setup time will be reduced and universal tooling will be introduced, as a result of which the parts manufacturing time will be reduced by 15%.
"ODK-Perm Motors" is the main manufacturer of the serial domestic fifth-generation PD-14 aircraft engine for MC-21-310 medium-range aircraft.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a video of the tests of the new PD-35 aircraft engine has appeared, but there is no aircraft for it yet.
