Гром не грянет: российские авиакомпании увеличивают вложения в кибербезопасность

A third of Russia's leading airlines increased their investments in protection against hackers in 2025, and by 2030, 80% of airlines will do so

Russian airlines significantly increased their cybersecurity spending in 2025, according to data from ORS, an IT solutions developer. More than 80% of the surveyed carriers plan to increase investments by 2030. This is due to the increasing number and complexity of cyberattacks. While only 39% of companies noted the increasing complexity of threats in 2024, this figure rose to 50% in 2025. Hackers are using multi-vector attacks, artificial intelligence, and various vulnerabilities.

An example of the consequences was the attack on Aeroflot on July 28, 2025, which www1.ru reported earlier. The hacker groups Silent Crow and "Cyberpartisans BY" claimed responsibility for the failure, which resulted in the cancellation of over 100 flights. According to analysts, the company's losses amounted to about 275 million rubles.

Aviation is increasingly dependent on digital systems: from booking tickets to managing flights. This makes the industry a target for hackers. ORS notes that protection requires a comprehensive approach: system updates, staff training, and real-time monitoring.
