More than 70 Russian airports will be modernized before the delivery of MC-21 and SJ-100

The work is underway with the involvement of private investment

At least 75 airports in Russia will be modernized by 2030. This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

According to him, the issue of connectivity of the country's regions is very important. For this purpose, the government is actively reconstructing the airport and airfield network.

On behalf of the President, at least 75 airfield complexes must be modernized by 2030. And almost all regions of the Far East are included in this program.

Mishustin added that over the past six years, Russia has already reconstructed about 20 airfield infrastructure facilities. And more than 20 will be updated within the framework of the national project "Efficient Transport System" in the next five years. The Prime Minister emphasized that the work is underway with the involvement of private investment.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the import-substituted MC-21 aircraft successfully tested radio-electronic equipment.
