Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin held a meeting on the development of aircraft construction, during which he ordered to clearly define the schedules for the production of domestic aircraft. Among the priority models are the Tu-214 aircraft and Ansat helicopters.
The head of the Cabinet emphasized that for each model it is necessary to establish a specific production time, the start of mass production and transfer to operation. The new modification of the Il-96, the Ladoga and Osvey projects, also came under special control.
Earlier, 400 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget for the modernization of the Tu-214 program. The funds were redistributed after the joint project with China was stopped.
