The United Aircraft Corporation (part of Rostec) showed the fully import-substituted domestic civilian jet SJ-100.
Named after the chief designer of the SSJ-100, Yuri Ivashechkin, the aircraft arrived in Zhukovsky from Komsomolsk-on-Amur and spent more than eight hours in the sky.
About 40 foreign units and systems were replaced with domestic ones on the aircraft, including PD-8 engines, landing gear, avionics, and an integrated control system.
UAC noted that strict quality control is carried out at all stages of aircraft testing. Serial deliveries to airlines will begin in 2026.
The prototype of the Superjet aircraft with domestic PD-8 engines made its first flight in March. Alexander Grachev, General Director of UEC, noted that the type certificate for the PD-8 engine is scheduled to be obtained in the fall of this year.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the import-substituted MS-21 aircraft successfully tested radio-electronic equipment.
