PJSC Tupolev (part of the United Aircraft Corporation of Rostec) is currently fulfilling 85% of the state defense order. This was announced by company representatives during a meeting of the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan regarding a lawsuit with Tatneft.
The company emphasized that it works for the state.
The state defense order implies only a contract profitability of 4%.
The Arbitration Court of Tatarstan partially satisfied the claim of Tatneft against Tupolev for an amount exceeding 6 billion rubles, including penalties.
The company stated that the aircraft factory is ready to sign new contracts for Tu-214 airliners with delivery no earlier than 2027.
Tupolev builds both military and civilian aircraft. Military aircraft include the Tu-22M3 long-range bomber-missile carriers, Tu-160 strategic bombers, as well as various modifications of the Tu-95. In civil aviation, the company is known for the Tu-204 and Tu-214 aircraft.
