Rostec turned the Superjet SJ-100 into a robotic Siberian Crane

As part of the import substitution program, aircraft are becoming "endemic," like Siberian Cranes

As part of the #TechnoFaunaRostec art project, the state corporation presented civilian products in the form of mechanized animals. For the SJ-100 aircraft with Russian PD-8 engines under the wing, Rostec chose the image of a Siberian Crane.

The bird of the crane family is endemic to the northern territories of Russia, that is, it lives exclusively on the territory of our country, although it flies to warmer climes for the winter.

"Superjets" are also becoming "endemic" as part of the import substitution program. Their components and assemblies are manufactured in the Russian Federation, and will soon completely replace foreign components.

The aircraft is used on both domestic and international medium-haul routes. Siberian Cranes and Superjets are united by an elegant light flight and incomparable grace, both in the air and on the ground.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that innovative sensors for the Superjet SSJ-100 and MC-21 began to be produced in Crimea.
