"Thoughtful routes and clear instructions": 2GIS presents the first navigator for motorcyclists in Russia

The motorcycle navigator takes into account the possibility of moving between rows where it is allowed

2GIS has introduced a motorcycle navigator that takes into account the specifics of traveling on two-wheeled vehicles. It helps you choose the best routes and follow them with voice prompts, so you don't have to look at your phone screen. No unnecessary notifications — only important information at the right time. This helps the motorcyclist stay focused on the road.

The motorcycle navigator is adapted to the specifics of motorcycling — for example, it takes into account the possibility of moving between rows where it is allowed. As a result, motorcyclists get shorter, more convenient and faster routes, as well as an accurate arrival time — taking into account the average speed of the motorcycle, the road situation and compliance with traffic rules.

Voice guidance for motorcyclists has been improved. Now the navigator is less distracting from the road. Among the innovations is a warning system for rear-view cameras. This is important for motorcyclists, because the number on the bike is located at the rear.

Speed limits are shown on all roads, even where there are no cameras. This helps drivers follow the rules and maintain the desired pace. In motorcycle mode, 2GIS remembers places where the user exceeded the speed limit and highlights this information. This makes the trip safer and reduces the likelihood of fines.

In 2GIS, you can build a route on any transport: by public transport, by car, by bicycle, scooter, on foot, and now — by motorcycle. Often motorcyclists remain outside the attention of mapping services — but we at 2GIS want everyone to be comfortable. The new motorcycle navigation mode is thoughtful routes, clear instructions and attention to detail.

The 2GIS navigator for motorcycles supports Android Auto and CarPlay. It is free and convenient for motorcycle owners with a built-in system, such as for new Harley-Davidson or modern Chinese models. The route is displayed directly on the motorcycle's display, so you don't have to take out your smartphone. Everything you need is always at hand. If you have an Apple Watch, you can track the direction of movement right on your wrist without taking your eyes off the road.

For the convenience of motorcyclists in helmets, there are now voice prompts. They are voiced by EXPLOSIVE MIKE, known as Vzryvnoi Mike. He is a motoblogger, traveler and auto and motorcycle journalist with many years of experience. Mike's voice is clear, informative and energetic. He will tell you where to turn, when to slow down and when to focus on the road.

Earlier, 2GIS introduced a new service — «2GIS Lens». This is a mobile application and software that uses artificial intelligence to create photo and video recordings of urban areas.
