The first photo of a fragment of the new "Geran-3" jet kamikaze drone with the letter "U" and number 36 has appeared online.
The fact that we are talking about an innovative development, significantly different in its characteristics from the traditional "Geran-2", is evidenced not only by the marking, but also by the discovered fragments of a small-sized jet engine.
Information is coming in that the new "Geran-3" is equipped with a compact turbofan engine, allowing the aircraft to reach speeds of up to 600 km/h during flight to the target, and up to 800 km/h when diving. This speed is significantly higher than that which the "Geran-2" is capable of developing - up to 170 km/h.
The weight of the device is up to 200 kg, the warhead is 50 kg. In terms of its destructive power, it can be compared to a cruise missile.
