The LMS-192 Osvey new aircraft project is currently in the interstate approval stage with Belarusian specialists, according to Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov.
According to him, Russia has completed the development of the technical parameters of the project. A positive conclusion from Belarus is now expected.
We are waiting for a positive conclusion to continue the development of the working design documentation directly.
The Osvey project is a joint initiative between Russia and Belarus to create a new 19-seat twin-engine turboprop aircraft designed for flights on local routes.
The aircraft is being developed by specialists from the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA). Approval of the aircraft parameters by Belarusian experts is required to proceed with the design of the aircraft structure.
