The State Duma has adopted amendments to the 2025 budget, and the parliament will allocate additional funds to improve the MC-21-310 aircraft.
2.2 billion rubles have been allocated for research and development work to improve flight performance and optimize the weight of the aircraft.
As it became known, the MC-21-310 aircraft gained several tons in weight during the import substitution work, compared to the non-import-substituted MC-21-300 aircraft.
The aircraft gained almost 6 tons, which sharply worsened flight performance. For example, at full load, the flight range was halved, to 2.8 thousand kilometers or even to 2 thousand, which took the aircraft out of the medium-range category.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that features of the Russian Su-34 and Su-24 were noticed in the first image of the unique 6th generation J-36 fighter.
