Russia will offer Belarus to jointly produce the promising fifth-generation light fighter Checkmate, also known as Su-75, and promote it in foreign markets. This was announced by the head of Rosoboronexport, Alexey Mikheev.
According to him, the parties will discuss production at the MILEX arms exhibition in Minsk.
Among the promising projects for which we will hold negotiations are the joint development and production of promising aviation complexes, including the Checkmate light tactical aircraft, UAVs, armored vehicles, and air defense systems.
The possibility of modernizing combat aircraft and repairing aircraft engines will also be discussed.
The maximum combat load of the Su-75 is 7400 kg, the flight range without external fuel tanks is 2900 km at a speed of up to Mach 1.8, which is one of the best indicators in its class.
