300 Signs of Property and Land Violations Detected in Moscow Using AI

Neural network analyzes data from video cameras and satellites

In Moscow, remote monitoring methods have been implemented for continuous surveillance of non-residential properties and land. Ivan Bobrov, Head of the Moscow State Inspectorate, discussed the results of using digital tools in the first quarter of 2025.

Materials from video cameras and satellites are analyzed using artificial intelligence and sent to inspectors for action.

Through remote monitoring tools, from January to March 2025, about 15,000 land plots were analyzed in the automated system, and more than 500,000 images from city cameras and other data sources were processed using neural networks.

The use of AI has made it possible to record about 300 signs of land and property violations. Among them are facts about illegal construction work at an early stage, cluttering of urban land plots, and much more.

The city's AI-based video surveillance system not only identifies property and land violations but also helps monitor the quality of cleaning and landscaping of courtyards and streets.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that scientists created a neural network for determining carbon in seas and oceans.
