The first flight of the fully import-substituted SJ-100 Superjet aircraft with all domestic systems is scheduled for April. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov.
He recalled that about two weeks ago, a Superjet flight with Russian PD-8 engines took place.

Rostec expects to launch mass production of the SJ-100 aircraft with the Russian PD-8 engine in early 2026, said the head of the state corporation, Sergei Chemezov. He noted that it could be about 20 aircraft per year.
