Pobeda Airlines plans to take all Boeing 737 aircraft that are in operation with Aeroflot and Rossiya.
It is fundamentally important for the company to maintain a mono-fleet, as this significantly affects the performance of the low-cost airline's business model. That is why Pobeda is focused on acquiring Boeing aircraft, despite the sanctions.
In 2024, Pobeda has already received one Boeing 737-800 from Royal Flight, which has suspended its flights. The aircraft is in good condition, and issues with insurance settlement have already been resolved. The low-cost carrier plans to continue to increase its fleet through partners.
We plan to consolidate the Aeroflot Group's Boeing 737s as Russian-made aircraft become available to the airline. The first domestically assembled aircraft will go to Rossiya and Aeroflot, and after their operation, decisions will be made on the further movement of aircraft within the group.
He also added that the fleet's "safety margin," taking into account the current organization of spare parts supplies, will last for at least the next ten years. Currently, the average age of a Pobeda aircraft is seven years.
