The Russian government will allocate 27.6 billion rubles for the modernization of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) aircraft between 2025 and 2027. These funds will be used for experimental design and research work aimed at completing the aircraft's certification with maximum use of domestic components and improved flight performance.
Funding is allocated by year: 9.5 billion rubles in 2025, 8.98 billion in 2026, and 9.13 billion in 2027. Contractors will be selected on a competitive basis on the public procurement website, with the results announced after March 18.
The SJ-100 modernization will include the refinement of existing prototypes, the creation of new design documentation, ground and flight tests, as well as the development of a built-in ladder, a modular interior, and an additional fuel system.
It is also planned to expand the aircraft's operating conditions and increase its transport capabilities.
