Сбер и МВД начнут совместную борьбу с дипфейками

Fraudsters often use DeepFake technology to deceive citizens

Sber and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia have agreed to jointly develop and improve technologies to combat deepfakes. This was reported in the bank's press service.

As part of the cooperation, Sber and the Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will develop high-tech solutions for detecting deepfakes, as well as improve existing tools and use them to solve crimes. The cooperation agreement was signed by Stanislav Kuznetsov, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank, and Police Lieutenant General Vadim Kazmin, Head of the ECC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The document also includes the exchange of experience and joint research that can assist in solving crimes related to the use of modern technologies.
