President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin made an important statement regarding the implementation of the high-speed railway (HSR-1) Moscow - St. Petersburg project. The head of state noted that the increase in the cost of the project is inevitable.
The increase in price is inevitable. This is obvious. And not only in connection with inflation, which has nevertheless stopped. This is primarily due to the key rate, with the increase in the cost of loans from commercial banks.
Putin also drew attention to the need to control prices. According to the head of state, manufacturers should not use the increase in the key rate and inflation as a pretext for unjustified price increases. He warned that ignoring these recommendations could lead to disruption of the project implementation deadlines.
