Auto journalist Maxim Kadakov took a ride in the new car for officials — LADA Aura. He spoke about the main differences from the LADA Vesta model. Comparison with the latter is correct, since the technical premium car is an extended LADA Vesta. It turned out that there are many differences between the cars.
Kadakov lifted the car on a lift. The front part from below is no different from LADA Vesta. And the main changes are in the rear.
Here is the main part, the insert to which the length of the car was increased. There is more than 250 mm here, because the metal overlaps. But the net increase in wheelbase length and car length is 250 mm
In the front suspension, Vaz employees changed the valves for the compression and rebound stroke in the front shock absorbers. At the rear, the shock absorbers have different stiffness settings, in addition, they are 5 mm higher than the LADA Vesta.
The struts and sills of the body were reinforced. Additional amplifiers appeared in the doors and roof. The stabilization system has been reconfigured.
