Production of the new «Moskvich-8» crossover will begin in October 2024. According to the press service of the car factory, sales of the car will start at the end of the year.
Currently, the crossover is already available on the «Moskvich» website, but there is no information about its characteristics and cost yet.
Also, representatives of «Moskvich» shared information with Autonews.ru about car sales for September. Last month, 2252 cars manufactured at the Moscow factory were sold. Among them are almost 214 «Moskvich 6» sedans and 238 «Moskvich 3e» electric vehicles. The remaining cars are «Moskvich 3» crossovers.
As a reminder, the «Moskvich 8» was shown at an exhibition in Moscow. In terms of dimensions, the car is comparable to the Hyundai Santa Fe. The length of the domestic car is 4824 mm, and the wheelbase is 2830 mm.
Earlier www1.ru reported that sales of «Moskvich» jumped one and a half times. In total, 2,252 cars were sold in September, including almost 214 «Moskvich-6» sedans and 238 «Moskvich-3e» electric vehicles.
