From January to August 2024, Lada Granta became the most popular AvtoVAZ model. Its market share amounted to 9.2% of the total demand for new cars.
In second place was the Niva Legend model, which accounted for 5.6% of sales. Vesta also entered the top three with a share of 5.3%, according to a study by Avito Auto, which was at the disposal of Gazeta.Ru.
Rounding out the top five most popular models are Niva Travel with a share of 1.8% and Vesta Cross with a share of 1.4%. At the same time, Vesta Cross demonstrated the most significant increase in demand: interest in this model increased almost 2.9 times compared to the same period last year.
The increase in demand for a number of VAZ models demonstrates the high interest of buyers in Lada cars.
In this niche, the brand has practically no rivals — it is mainly opposed by inexpensive new sedans from China or used cars.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ told how Lada cars are tested for tightness. Streams of water are poured onto cars passing through the rain chamber, as if the cars were caught in a heavy downpour. Then the cars are dried.
