Новая модель дрона-корректировщика артиллерии «Альбатрос М5» засветилась на передовой

The drone also conducts reconnaissance in the enemy's deep rear

A new Albatros M5 drone has begun to enter service with units of the Russian Armed Forces. It is designed for artillery spotting and reconnaissance in the enemy's deep rear.

Depending on the payload and weather conditions, the drone can stay in the air for up to 4.5 hours, with a speed of up to 110 km/h and a range of about 60 km.

Military expert Alexei Leonkov noted that the Albatros will be useful for combat work in the tactical zone on the line of contact.

A drone of this type should provide target coordinates for our multiple launch rocket systems,  artillery, and mortars. The Grad MLRS has a range of up to 40 km, towed artillery up to 30 km, and self-propelled artillery units up to 50 km.

Earlier it became known that Russian soldiers rebuilt T-55, T-62, and T-72 tanks into armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles.
