AvtoVAZ reacted to a video of a "defective" Lada Niva for 1.3 million rubles, where it was impossible to switch the gearbox lever due to a huge multimedia system. Sergey Ilyinsky, Director of Public Relations of the concern, said that the non-original accessory could have been installed by the dealer himself.
Ilyinsky promised to apply strict sanctions to the company that put up for sale a "defective" car with huge multimedia, which makes it impossible to switch gears. He did not rule out even termination of the contract with the dealership.
This is, of course, a non-original accessory, bought from who knows where. The strictest sanctions will be applied to the dealer for offering such uncoordinated modifications, up to termination of the contract.
As a reminder, an unusual defect was found in a brand new car in one of the dealerships. When the first or third gear is engaged, the lever rests against the panel. The buyer is offered a strange solution - to bend it. The manager assured that everyone does so.
