Russian AMN-590951 "Spartak" armored vehicles at the front line have received additional protection made of logs. Footage of the vehicles has surfaced online.

Soldiers covered the roofs of the vehicles with a flooring of logs, and some armored vehicles were additionally equipped with lattice screens. Such structures are designed to protect the vehicles from kamikaze drone strikes and projectiles dropped from quadcopters.

The frontal and side armor of the vehicle provide protection from armor-piercing incendiary bullets, and the V-shaped bottom and anti-traumatic seats protect the crew when explosive devices detonate under the "Spartak".

The "Spartak" is a two-axle armored vehicle with an all-wheel drive chassis and a monocoque body. The length of the vehicle is 6.5 m, width is 2.5 m, height is (to the roof) 2.8 m. The curb weight is 14.5 tons.
