Propellers for FPV drones manufactured by the "Spektr" design bureau have passed state examination. It was established that the products surpass the flight and technical characteristics of analogues from the Chinese manufacturer HQProp, according to Andrey Bratenkov, executive director of the design bureau.
The propellers have passed state tests and are recommended for supply to the military.
For testing, we manufactured an improved 9x5x3 propeller. According to their results, our propeller surpassed one of the leaders of the Chinese market - the HQProp 9x5x3 propeller - in terms of technical and flight characteristics.
The examination showed less heating of the electric motor windings. It was reduced to 37%. This will allow FPV drones to operate in enhanced modes and increase the takeoff weight by 20%.
According to Andrey Bratenkov, most Russian drones are equipped with Chinese propellers. The new development will help replace them with domestic analogues with better technical characteristics.
