Rostec has launched a galvanic line at the NPO "Electromashina" enterprise in the Chelyabinsk region. This was reported by the company's press service.
The new equipment will be used to apply a special coating to the body parts of civilian and military products of the enterprise. It will provide high corrosion resistance to the products.
A similar project has been implemented in the Chelyabinsk region for the first time. The galvanic line is an engineering structure, the launch of which required modernization of the building and infrastructure of the enterprise. The line operates on the basis of an automated control system.
The modern line is fully automated, and what is very valuable is that it is completely domestic. In addition, the electroplating plant is significantly more environmentally friendly than previous ones: the amount of wastewater that enters further processing is reduced, and there are significantly fewer emissions.
Due to the implementation of the project, the throughput of the manufacturing process will increase by 2-2.5 times.
