The Rostec State Corporation has begun work on improving the options for modules to significantly increase the range of use of high-explosive aerial bombs (FAB) of various calibers.
Work is currently underway on an improved version of the modules, which will significantly increase the range of ammunition.
As clarified in the state corporation, FAB-3000 with smart modules are already actively used by the military.
The three-ton aerial bomb with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC) developed by KTRV has become an even more formidable weapon. It combines powerful destructive action and high accuracy.
Earlier, military expert Evgeny Damantsev pointed out the possibility of increasing the range of FAB bombs to 150 km by modernizing the UMPC.
