Sinara Group and DST-Ural presented a joint project of the "Sinara-400" tracked snow groomer at the Innoprom-2024 international industrial exhibition, the company's press service reported.
The future speed of the new model is 22 km/h, and the carrying capacity is 1500 kg. The maximum climbable slope is 45°.
A specialized vehicle is an indispensable piece of equipment for ski resorts and other facilities where snow track preparation and maintenance are required.
The model will be equipped with a YaMZ-652 six-cylinder diesel engine with direct fuel injection. The snow groomer's driver cabin will provide a 360-degree view through panoramic windows.
The snow groomer will be equipped with lighting devices for visibility in the dark, attachments for clearing snow of various densities, and a chassis for working on steep slopes.
The project will take a year to develop. Potential customers include Russian ski resorts, many of which still use foreign technology.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a modern "Sinara-6254" trolleybus, capable of traveling up to 80 km on its own, appeared in Russia.
