The ONPP "Tekhnologiya" named after Romashin will be engaged in glazing the driver's cabs of the new "Minsk-2024" trains.
Each carriage will have five high-tech glasses with complex geometry. They are characterized by high strength characteristics and can withstand the impact of an object weighing 1 kg at speeds up to 180 km/h.
A thin film of metal oxide is applied to each product, its thickness does not exceed 60 nanometers. It is designed to conduct electric current for uniform heating. This allows the glasses to maintain their optical properties at low temperatures. The first sets of glasses have already been sent to the customer.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the driver's cab of the "Moscow-2024" metro train will receive new glasses with a unique coating.
