Россия отправит первых космонавтов на РОС в 2028 году

A new generation manned transport spacecraft will deliver them to the Russian Orbital Station by the end of 2028

The timeline for when the first cosmonauts will be able to set foot on the Russian Orbital Station is outlined in the general construction schedule for this facility. The day before, it was signed by Roscosmos head Yuri Borisov and 19 other general directors of the main cooperation enterprises associated with this domestic project.

The document appears in one of the frames of the Roscosmos story about the signing of the schedule. It can also be seen there that a modernized Angara-A5M rocket will help the first ROS module get into orbit. It is known that components have already begun to be produced for it.

Also, according to the space state corporation, in addition to the PTK Orel, modernized Progress-ROS space trucks will service the ROS. In 2027 and 2028, they will fly from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, and by 2029, infrastructure will be fully created for them at the Russian Vostochny Cosmodrome.
