The St. Petersburg-based Pella shipyard has developed the "Raptor 2.0" military boat, taking into account the combat experience of the Russian Armed Forces. The modernized boat has an updated weapons system, an increased hull length, and a more powerful engine.
During the modernization, the developer paid special attention to import substitution, with production fully localized at domestic enterprises.
Instead of the "Kord" combat module, "Raptors" have been equipped with "Narwhal" modules with a caliber of 12.7 mm, with improved range, accuracy, and grouping. The troop capacity has increased to 20 people, while maintaining a maximum speed of 50 knots, the cruising range has increased to 400 miles.
Also, at the customer's request, the new "Raptor", in addition to the standard combat module, can be equipped with a multi-caliber missile system.
We are talking about a combat module in a containerized version for performing various fire missions, that is, you can install containers with guided missile weapons or containers with a multiple launch rocket system on board. If necessary, the "Raptor 2.0" can be equipped with a UAV-spotter for vertical take-off and landing.
Earlier it became known that the "Raptor 2.0" can be equipped with multiple launch rocket systems. The boat is intended for the defense of basing points, ships from attacks by small surface targets in unprotected roadsteads, fire support for the actions of special forces and marines in coastal areas.
