A pharmacy of the "Ai-Bolit" chain is opening at the Anadyr (Ugolny) international airport named after Yu.S. Rytkheu in Chukotka. Medicines will be delivered there for residents of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug according to their orders: small aircraft fly from this airport to remote villages, and the necessary drugs can now be easily transferred on board.
As the management of the pharmacy chain told the correspondent of the "Krayniy Sever" newspaper, the pharmacy point at the airport has a full range of medicines that are available in large pharmacies in Anadyr and Ugolnye Kopi. There are only no small parapharmaceutical products and hygiene products there.
The profitability may be low, but we will perform an important social function, because not all villages have pharmacies. You can order medicines by phone or through the website, pay remotely, and then relatives or acquaintances can take the order with them on board at the airport,
At the same time, for residents of Chukotka and residents of other remote regions of Russia, the launch of drug delivery to remote settlements by drones is being considered. Drones can also pick up and deliver tests collected from the population to district centers - this was announced by the Ministry of Health at the beginning of the year.
The domestic medical UAV "Aeromedic" is already undergoing testing. It will be used for flights to distant villages and towns, where medicines need to be delivered from district paramedic and obstetric stations. When loaded with less than five kilograms, it can fly up to 600 kilometers, when loaded to the maximum of five kilograms, it will deliver the cargo only 200 kilometers.
There is also at least one series of drones that has already shown that it is capable of performing such tasks. In Buryatia, the "Burya-10" drone passed the exams, which flew 200 kilometers and delivered medicines and medical supplies to a remote area.
