В России заработал первый новый лазерный станок для газотурбинных двигателей

Laser machines for high-precision parts processing, complex contour cutting, and welding were developed in Moscow

Specialists from the Moscow-based GC "Lasers and Equipment" have developed and released their first five-axis laser machine for high-precision parts processing, complex contour cutting, and welding. It will be used in the production of gas turbine engines.

According to the press service of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the City of Moscow, the machine is already operating in the Yaroslavl Region at the site of "one of the leading domestic manufacturers of gas turbine engines," where "it performs cutting and welding operations on aircraft engine parts."

In addition to the machine's operation in five coordinates, the machine vision system implemented in it contributes to high processing accuracy.

Up to 15 units of such machines will be produced per year.

Previously, "Lasers and Equipment" released the first domestic machines for high-precision ultraviolet laser processing. They are used in the manufacture of any microelectronics and electrical engineering products, for example, when working with semiconductors, printed circuit boards, and polymer films. At least fifty of these high-precision machines will be produced per year.
