У авиадвигателей SSJ-100 появились российские топливные фильтры и новая система ремонта

The first batch of filters has already been shipped to airlines, and the first repaired engines may arrive after the New Year

The United Engine Corporation of the Rostec State Corporation continues to think about how to import-substitute key elements of the Russian-French SaM146 aircraft engines.

SaM146 engines are installed on more than a hundred Russian SSJ-100 aircraft, and the issue of independence from foreign supplies is very acute for airlines

Earlier in December, Rosaviatsia already certified domestic spark plugs from UEC-Saturn. Their first batch was sent to airlines that operate SSJ-100.

Now, UEC-Saturn, together with its partners, has received approval for its modification of the SaM146 with an alternative fuel filter design. The first batch of Russian fuel filters for the SaM146, after the necessary tests, has also been shipped to operators.

UEC-Saturn is also working on a technology for flushing import-substituted fuel filters, which will extend their service life.

In addition, Russian specialists are awaiting approval for modular repair of the aircraft engine electronic control unit in accordance with federal aviation regulations. The repair technology was developed jointly by UEC-Saturn, UEC-STAR and Aeroflot.

The electronic engine control unit was one of the most critical components affecting the operation of SaM146 engines. Specialists from the United Engine Corporation managed to develop and certify a new type of repair that allows identifying faulty modules and replacing them. The first repaired control units are expected to be put into operation in January-February 2024.
