Modern digital technologies will help to utilize its potential, stated Mikhail Vasyokha, Head of the Department of Marine and Oil and Gas Affairs at Murmansk Arctic University (MAU), in the Ministry of Industry and Trade's "Made by Us" pavilion at the "Russia" forum at VDNH.

In addition, the region will need engineers of automated monitoring systems, development, extraction of minerals, operators for controlling well drilling, the scientist noted. Many professions for the Arctic will be associated with robotics, in particular, with the maintenance of automated production, robotics. Vasyokha did not rule out that Arctic agriculture will develop. And this industry will also require new specialists, he summarized.

Russia is actively developing equipment for studying and developing the Arctic. In particular, "Ural" plans to launch mass production of "Arctic" buses with improved technical characteristics. A powerful "Arkhant" snow and swamp vehicle was presented for scientific expeditions, and a marine drone was developed for environmental monitoring.
