Digital technologies are completely changing the profile of specialists needed to work in a particular field. After analyzing what is currently happening in the Arctic, I can say for sure that in the future, unmanned aerial vehicle operators, systemic mining engineers, and eco-analysts in the extractive industries will be in demand.
In addition, the region will need engineers of automated monitoring systems, development, extraction of minerals, operators for controlling well drilling, the scientist noted. Many professions for the Arctic will be associated with robotics, in particular, with the maintenance of automated production, robotics. Vasyokha did not rule out that Arctic agriculture will develop. And this industry will also require new specialists, he summarized.
Russia is actively developing equipment for studying and developing the Arctic. In particular, "Ural" plans to launch mass production of "Arctic" buses with improved technical characteristics. A powerful "Arkhant" snow and swamp vehicle was presented for scientific expeditions, and a marine drone was developed for environmental monitoring.
