The Irkutsk Aviation Plant received a PD-14 engine from ODC for the fourth production MC-21. While the power plant was sent to the next liner, the second production aircraft is already at the flight test station and is preparing for its first flight.
On the MC-21 with factory number MC.0015, specialists are checking systems and units, after which they will conduct engine run-ups. The aircraft was assembled in a fully import-substituted configuration and is intended for the Aeroflot group.
In total, 18 MC-21-310 aircraft are currently at various stages of the production cycle.
Six aircraft are undergoing airframe assembly and system installation, and another six are undergoing fuselage section assembly and docking. Two aircraft are in aggregate assembly, and the rest are going through other stages of the production cycle.
