Rosoboronexport concluded export contracts for the supply of weapons and military equipment worth more than 13 billion dollars in the first half of 2026. In six months, the company secured as many new orders as it did for the entire year of 2025, which sharply changed the pace of its export portfolio formation. This was announced by the head of the company, Alexander Mikheev.
The largest part of the agreements concluded in 2026 accounts for products for the air force, with air defense equipment taking second place.
One of the most notable new export products was the fifth-generation fighter Su-57E. In April, Rosoboronexport reported several concluded contracts for this aircraft, without disclosing their customers or cost. Algeria is considered the first confirmed foreign operator of the Su-57E; in parallel, Russia is conducting technical consultations with India regarding a possible purchase of the aircraft and the organization of its production at Indian enterprises.
In the aviation segment, demand for more mature "Su" family platforms, including the Su-35, remains. However, the specific cost of contracts for individual types of equipment from the total amount is not disclosed. For comparison, the previously concluded contract between Russia and India for five regimental sets of S-400 alone was estimated at 5.43 billion dollars.
