The Russian aviation industry is preparing to sell not only finished aircraft abroad. The new model involves joint production, technology exchange, and the creation of supply chains with foreign partners – and this is where the next stage of industry development may lie.
Gennady Abramenkov, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, spoke about the new scheme. According to him, Russia proposes to abandon dependence on individual suppliers and build a more distributed system in which different countries participate in the creation of components, systems, and the aircraft themselves.
For the Russian aviation industry, this means a change in the very logic of exports. MS-21, SJ-100, Il-114-300, and Tu-214 are becoming not only end products but also a possible basis for broader industrial cooperation. At the same time, Russia expects to offer foreign partners not only its aircraft but also individual aviation systems, as well as production competencies.
The main question remains open – how quickly this model can be transformed from a proposal into real international projects. But the vector itself has already been outlined: the Russian aviation industry wants to enter the foreign market not with a single finished machine, but with an entire system of technologies and production.
