The production of the Russian-Belarusian 19-seat LMS-192 "Osvey" aircraft may be organized at the Nizhny Novgorod "Sokol" aircraft plant. The project is planned for 2026–2029, and the necessary investments are estimated at approximately 6 billion rubles.
The enterprise, part of OAK, plans to establish the production of airframe parts and aircraft systems, as well as the assembly of fuselage panels, doors, and hatches. A site previously intended for Il-114 parts assembly is being considered for this work.
Of the total amount, about 727 million rubles may be required for survey work, and another 2.8 billion rubles for construction and installation work. The remaining 2.5 billion rubles are intended for equipment procurement.
The LMS-192 "Osvey" is being created as a light multi-purpose aircraft for local and regional transportation. The aircraft will have a capacity of 15 to 19 passengers. The Russian side participates in the project through the Ural Civil Aviation Plant, and the Belarusian partner is the 558th Aircraft Repair Plant.
