UAC received a boost on the stock exchange: shares of the MS-21 and SJ-100 manufacturer gained 7%

Investors believed in the prospects of the Russian aircraft industry

Shares of the United Aircraft Corporation rose by more than 7% at the start of trading on August 3 on the Moscow Exchange. UAC quotes rose to about 0.35 rubles per share, and the volume of transactions reached tens of millions of rubles.

The growth occurred amid increased investor attention to Russian aircraft manufacturing. According to the Moscow Exchange, by 08:42 Moscow time, UAC shares gained 7.01% compared to the previous close, and trading turnover amounted to 55.68 million rubles.

At the close of trading on July 31, the value of UAC shares was at 0.33 rubles, and the daily turnover reached 107.97 million rubles. At the same time, over the past year, the company's shares have fallen by approximately 34%.

UAC remains one of the key enterprises of the Russian aircraft industry. The corporation's structure includes manufacturers of "Su", "MiG", "Il", "Tu", "Yak", "Be" aircraft families, as well as civil airliners SJ-100 and MS-21.

The company is engaged in the development, production, repair and modernization of aviation equipment. The main volume of production falls on military aviation, but among the strategic directions remains the development of domestic civil aircraft, including import substitution projects in aircraft manufacturing.

UAC is part of the Rostec state corporation.
